Laura Grisamore is a photo artist. She is a native Iowan, studied photojournalism at the University of Iowa. From 2003-2013 her photography primarily focused on creating photo documentaries that explored urbanism and the social landscapes of Des Moines, Iowa City, Chicago and New York City.

 

Since moving to Park Rapids in 2013, her focus and style has changed drastically from “untouched” urban landscapes to reimagining and creating with her photos of Northern Minnesota's natural landscapes and found objects into digital artwork. Her work has been showcased in various festivals in the Park Rapids area and exhibited at the Great River Arts, in Little Falls, MN and The Watermark in Park Rapids, MN.
